Air Asia get Tax Exemption!

Air Asia announced that Ministry of Finace has approved the company's investment allowance incentive application. This is a very good news as it reflected thru the share price itself. Air Asia price hit lowest 4 days ago at 1.48 and bounce back as high as 1.68 today. But, will it marching up?

Cheap NSCOM

KLSE is currently at 905. What a big drop. Although it's not an exciting time, this is actually a good time to pick up those cheap cheap shares. Since Hari Raya is closing in, I personally need to save some money for the Hari Raya expense. If not, I would definitely go and buy NSCOM which drop as low as 0.155 today. 5000 units will surely bring the previous weighted buy price to 0.185.

RicherMalaysian Porfolio for WW7 worsen due to the market sentiment. The "Unrealised Loss" increase to 775 while the "Realised Gain" still maintain 290. Our strategy is to look at the opportunity to reduce our weighted buy price by buying more NSCOM or ENGTEX.

HLG Research: Buy Public Bank

Buy recommendation on Public Bank because of the outstanding performance in meeting the 15% growth target. Current price is at 6.55 while target price is at 7.91. However, despite the strong loans growth, one might also wants to look at the impact of the high inflation.

RicherMalaysian portfolio "unrealised profit" for WW6 had decreased to 475. ENGTEX price show a positive changes as it closed higher than last week. RicherMalaysian "realised profit" had increased by 90 as we sold our SUNINC shares. Next strategy is to monitor for cheap warrants to buy.

Sold SUNINC at 0.59

Yesterday,I've sold SUNINC at 0.59 (still not sure whether it's a good decision or not). Will monitor this stock closely in case the price drops again.

RicherMalaysian portfolio Unrealised Loss increased to 480 as ENGTEX price dropped sharply. NSCOM price maintain at 0.19 and for the first time, RicherMalaysian Porfolio has a counter that provided a positive unrealised gain which is SUNINC. Next strategy is to monitor ENGTEX and try to lower down the average buy price if possible.

2006 Budget: More Allocation to the Needy!

I was glad that there are more allocations poured to the needy in the 2006 budget. It's a great effort of bridging the poor and the middle class gap. Thanks Mr. Prime Minister for all the hardwork. However, I do hope that much more allocation poured since the raise in allocation will only offset the inflation impact on the daily need goods' prices. A little will do on bridging the gap I guess. Yet, we read about the millions loss caused by inefficient or distraught or lost focus custom officers and the high numbers of incomplete government projects. Cover those holes politicians and everyone of us might probably watch the next season of Bersamamu in lesser despair.

RicherMalaysian Portfolio WW4

RicherMalaysian portfolio is doing well. Although the total unrealised loss is RM 335, there is high confidence that NSCOM going to be valued at higher price very soon. RicherMalaysian portfolio "realised profit" has doubled this week as we were able to buy 10000 units of MBFHWA at 0.05 and sold them back at 0.06.

WW5 objectives are to buy cheap warrants for short term gain and pay close attention to NSCOM price.

NSCOM: First Lesson Learned

After bought 10 000 units of NSCOM shares at 0.1975, the counter hit highest price of 0.205 two times and 0.21 once (oppurtunities for me to make more money). As one of my objective is to reduce broker's charge, I decided not to sell the shares. Today, the current price is at 0.19. I could have make RM125 and buy NSCOM at cheaper price. Well, first lesson learned.

SBB Recommendation: Buy GHL System Bhd

SBB revised GHL System Bhd estimated net earning from RM 6.9m to RM 10.9m. Target price will be at 0.20cents (current price at 0.12). Interesting part is that, GHL plan to roll out the self-vending card at mamak kiosk in October. Don't know what's going to happen.

1)GHL shares were issued at 0.10 cents.
2) The company is making money.
3)Current price is at 0.12 cents.

This will be my next favorite shares to collect after NSCOM.

NSCOM up!

NSCOM up to close at 0.205 today. Have a confidence in NSCOM and would like to see what happen when 015 is launch. Will try to get MBFHLDG-W at 0.05 tomorrow.

RicherMalaysian portfolio "unrealised loss" reduced to 275 as NSCOM and ENGTEX both closed at higher prices. Realised gain maintain at 100. Our current strategy is to watch and see the Rita's impact on the market.

KHIND to think about..

KHIND just recently announced an interim dividend of 5cents. The ex-date will be on 5th October 2005. Currently, this counter price is on the up trend. It's also a volatile counter. The interesting part is that this counter is not expensive (today it closed at 0.775). Sure is a good counter to consider to get benefits from the dividend and also from the price volatilities.

PLUS CA is at Discount

PLUS CA offer a cheaper entry to PLUS. With yesterday price closed at 0.44 and exercise price at 2.79, total price will be at 3.23 a unit which is 0.07 cheaper than PLUS(3.30). This happen probably because of the extra charges to exercise and also the longer time taken to do the conversion. However, considering the right volume, this is almost a sure gain.

Last Friday, KLSE closed at 921.99.(Bien!) RicherMalaysian portfolio "Unrealised Lost" has increased from RM295 to RM395 due to the NSCOM and ENGTEX stocks' prices drop. However, RicherMalaysian portfolio do gain RM100 "Realised Gain" as we able to sell 10000 unit of MBFHWA at the price of 0.06 each(Highest price of the day). Current objective is to lower down the average Buy Price for ENGTEX and NSCOM and usher the cheap warrant counters for short term gain.

KLSE Up by 4.91 Points!

Today, KLSE closed at 4.91 points higher! Despite the news saying that Malaysia CPI(Consumer Price Index) spiked 3.7%, which is higher than consensus of 3.3%, the market had showed a positive reaction. Our PM must have worked very hard to sell Malaysia to foreign investors. Let's hope it pays off.

OSK Recommendation: Buy Kotra

Today, Kotra counter closed at 1.36. 2 cents increment after closed at 1.34 yesterday. OSK put a Buy recommendation due to good performance showed by this pharmaceutical company. 12 months target price is at 1.54.

We name our portfolio RicherMalaysian portfolio. This portfolio reflect our actual transaction done in Malaysia Bourse. Current RicherMalaysian porfolio is as above. Lower down NSCOM average price will be the next priority. However, if the price start to picking up, will maintain 10000 units for NSCOM. Target price for MBFHWA will be at 0.06. Will keep ENGTEX and my fingers cross for the rebound.

Stock To Watch: NSCOM

NSCOM announced that it's going to launch 015 in October. Using VoIP as the communication tool will be very interesting indeed. For sure, this will provide a cheaper channel for users to communicate.

-Converts the voice signal from our telephone into a digital signal that travels over the internet then converts it back at the other end so we can speak to anyone with a regular phone number.

KLSE drops by 2.27 points

Expected drop because of profit taking. Titan closed at 1.55. Even hit 1.59 today. Sure is a good counter to watch!

KLSE is UP!!

Up Up and Away! KLSE index had inreased 7.43 points today to close at 919.07. NSCOM closed 5.56% higher at 0.19. Will NSCOM shareprice shoot up to 0.22? I certainly hope so. Let us wait and see!

KLSE shows a positive sign

KLSE is up 1.9 points today.

Hurricane Katrina's real impact on the oil crisis is started to show up. Yet, the oil price felldown as Industrialized countries began to tap their oil reserves. Some refiners hit by Hurricane Katrina is also getting ready to reoperate. This is a good sign to the market. Oil price most probably will maintain per current and felldown as the U.S refiners get back on their feet.

Titan Chemicals Corp shows good result

Titan Chemicals had recently declared a revenue of 2.15 billion for 1H05 which is 35% higher than 1H04 revenue. This outstanding result contribute to 112% profit improvement and an EPS of 17.43 . Sure is a good counter to pay attention to as the "Issue Price" was at 2.17. Today, it closed at 1.46. Hmm..

Virtual Factory

Finally, I've completed my "Effective ShopFloor Leadership Management" training. Wow! It's great to hear stories from a person. You never know what you are going to get! Today, my trainer shared his experiences in setting up a Virtual Factory in his kampung, Jelutong. I'm not so sure when he did setup his Sewing Virtual Factory but I think I heard he said about 20 years ago. Nevermind. Regardless of happy ending at the end (his factory makes millions now), his (and 3 other friends) idea of seting up a Virtual Factory by running a small lorry(I think) to send and collect materials from those mothers who do all the sewing at home really excite me.I can't imagine how beautiful the experiences of putting the thought into reality. Well Mr. Khoo. I salute you for that. Salute!

TESCO in Kulim..

I had a training in Kulim Golf Club today and had a little chat with the trainer. There are a lot of positive things he mentioned about Kulim. He said that there'll be TESCO and a highway straight to Sungai Petani soon (maybe in 5 years time) which are going to make Kulim a good place to invest (property). For me personally, I still prefer KL properties. Yes, there'll be changes overtime in Kulim, but no matter how fast it is changing, KL is changing faster. But who knows, in the future, I might consider Kulim as the Kulim Hi-Tech has a high potential to draw the crowd there. After all, Kedah Maju 2010.

AirAsia closed higher at 1.55..

Oil price did hit 70 per expected. The increment was due to the Hurricane Katrina's rampage across U.S Gulf Coast and Mexico Gulf. I view this scenario as a short term problem which based on high demand caused by fear. How true is that, is remain uncertain. We are yet to see the real impact of this hurricane on oil supply. Only the very very high demand(stimulated by fear)!
Locally, AirAsia and MAS are the 2 companies that are badly hit by the high oil cost. As expected, the share prices for these 2 companies keep on dropping. MAS also had recently reported a big loss this quater which is bad enough that it needs to put some blame to AirAsia. AirAsia in other hand, still marked a profit this quarter. However, the lower profit had decreased the public interest to keep their AirAsia's shares. In my opinion, AirAsia is a growing company and should be treated as one. I salute this company because it still able to declare a profit while the other had to declare a loss. If the oil price did not increase, things will certainly be much better.

Bought MBFHolding Warrant

Market closed with index marked in red. Bought MBFH warrant at 5 cents to make sure my $500 doesn't go to waste. Still maintain, NSCOM and ENGTEX. NSCOM quite active but traded at low price. Will ENGTEX rebound? Hopefully, yes. Airlines are getting cheaper now. Very interesting indeed. To those who plan to own a piece of an aeroplane, you can now make your dream comes true.

KLSE Index Keeps Dropping...

I'm frustrated a bit with the current market condition. At the same time, I'm also excited. As people heavily sells their shares it is actually the good time to buy!! However, the million dollar questions is, "When is the right time to buy? Today? Tommorrow? Next Week?". Since the next supports will be at 880, monitoring the index will be my next week goal. At the same time, hunting for cheap shares to buy, buy, buy!!

Oil Price Hit Highest Ever!

No good. I should start to ride bicycle to work. Now KLSE is down again. (Actually, oil price hits $90 per barrel 25 years ago.)

Credit Cards For College Kids

"Credit cards can really screw up your life!"
My friend was in college in United States when he applied multiple of credit cards and easily got them. Eventhough he doesn't really have a secure amount of monthly income at that time, credit cards' companies seem very eager to give him as many credit cards as possible. Accompanied with free gifts and the "always smiling credit cards' booth peeps", he was attracted to sign the agreements that put him to financial doom. At that time, he was only a freshman. Without awareness and out of stupidity, he started to use his credit cards to buy all sort of stuffs that college kids would likely to buy. At the end of his college time, he was seriously trapped in debt. Only then he realized that he was tricked by the credit cards' companies and now become their slave. He really hopes that he doesn't have to work, earn and pay'em. But, with full of regret, he still have to.

The market is finally up!! However, the sad thing is that I'm still holding NSCOM and ENGTEX stocks which keep on dropping.
